Dewan, Ephraim, Salihu, Gonung, Lapching, and Wokdung shut down the PKK.On April 5, 2025, a delegation of esteemed Plateau sons, led by Rt. Hon. Speaker Dewan Gabriel Kudangbena, attended multiple events across Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam local government areas. The team made significant donations at each event, showcasing their commitment to the community.
KEY EVENTS AND DONATIONS.•Wedding Ceremony in Pankshin: The team donated N1,500,000 to the couple.•Wedding Fatiha in Fyel, Kanam LGA: They donated N500,000 to the former PDP Chairman’s daughter.•Bankilong Community Development Association (BADA) Event: Hon. Commissioner Ephraim Usman represented the Executive Governor and donated N2,000,000, with an additional N3,000,000 pledged on behalf of the PKK Team.
Coronation Ceremony in Amper: The Plateau State Government certified the new Senior District head, Nde Kupshak Goma Koptip, and donated N2 million from Executive Governor Mutfwang.The PKK PDP’s Leaders presence reportedly disrupted the All Progressive Congress opposition events, causing them to flee.
This move is seen as a significant blow to the All Progressive Party (APC) in the PKK region, with pundits suggesting that Dewan, Ephraim, Salihu, Gonung, Lapching, and Wokdung have effectively sidelined the APC in the PKK area.The PDP’s dominance in Plateau State, particularly in Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam, is evident, and their recent show of strength has sent a clear message. As the party continues to solidify its position, the opposition, APC, appears headed for a significant defeat in 2027.
