In Gwamlar today 9th June 2025 Chief Ephraim Usman commissioned a block of four classrooms stands as a lasting legacy, named in honor of the late Mama Santali Usman Gar, mother of Chief Ephraim Usman. The community has expressed profound gratitude for this magnificent structure, with Chief Ephraim Usman attributing its construction to the PDP government. He emphasized that the school’s benefits would be shared by children from all parties, including PDP, APC, and LP, without discrimination. The true beauty of this initiative lies in the enduring impact of the ‘Time is Now’ administration, which has come to stay and make a lasting difference in Kanam Local Government Area.
In another event one thousand five hundred wrappers were distributed among the fortunate women who gathered at Chief Ephraim Usman’s residence. He advised the recipients to consider themselves blessed and view the gesture as an act of divine providence. Chief Usman also assured the women that this initiative was just the beginning, promising that more empowerment programs were on the horizon for the people of Kanam, thanks to the “Time is Now” administration’s commitment to their well-being.
Another notable educational project commissioned by Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman was a 2-classroom block at Bagyar, named in loving memory of his late niece, Joy Danjuma Usman. The Bagyar community expressed their heartfelt gratitude and acceptance of the educational structure, appreciating the efforts of Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Plateau State.
I’m aware that some might be misled into believing this is another World Bank project. However, the ‘Time is Now’ administration has truly come to stay in Kanam Local Government Area. The People’s Democratic Party’s initiatives are genuine and not exaggerated. Today, June 9th, 2025, is a joyous day for the beneficiaries of 60 Yamaha Crux Rev 2025 model motorcycles, part of the 150,000 stored in Kanam Local Government Area, Plateau State. The People’s Democratic Party in Kanam has bolstered its reputation with this initiative, marking another feather in its cap. Following the first phase distribution of 60 branded motorcycles, an additional 2,000 Hollandais wrappers were also handed out to beneficiaries in Dengi, the headquarters of Kanam Local Government Council.
The Executive Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council, Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa, and the Chairman of the PDP Stakeholders Forum, Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman, who is also the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Plateau State, have brought the transformative presence of the ‘Time is Now’ movement to the people of Kanam. The PDP has successfully dispelled the misconceptions perpetuated by the Kanam All Progressives Congress.
This event is unprecedented in Kanam Local Government Area and marks a new era under the People’s Democratic Party, led by Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the captain of the ‘Time is Now’ movement. The success of this initiative is attributed to the Governor’s vision including Hon. Ephraim Usman the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Plateau State and Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa, the Executive Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council.
The people of Kanam were utterly surprised and shocked by the singular initiative of Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa, the Executive Chairman. They now attest to the fact that Governor Mutfwang has genuinely prioritized the welfare of Kanam’s people through empowerment programs. The Executive Chairman reiterated, “We will continue to empower our people until we have optimally impacted their lives.
Ephraim urged PDP members to remain steadfast and unworried, emphasizing that while not everyone may benefit immediately, the future looks bright for all party members. He reminded them that Governor Mutfwang’s promises are soon to materialize, as the Governor’s words are consistently backed by action – a hallmark of the PDP. Ephraim also made it clear that the party has zero tolerance for deception and will always hold individuals with deceitful intentions accountable by doing what is right.
The event concluded on a high note, with smiles and good wishes from the beneficiaries, who expressed gratitude to the Executive Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council, Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa, and Chief Ephraim Usman. Chief Ephraim played a pivotal role as a mediator between the people of Kanam and the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang. Notably, the 60 Yamaha Crux Rev 2025 motorcycles led the convoy escorting the Honourable Commissioner to his country home in Gar.
The celebration culminated with thousands of PDP members joining the Executive Chairman, Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa, alongside the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Aliyu S. Aliyu, the Council Secretary, Hon. Salome P. Madaki, and Rt. Hon. Samson Duba Allah Yafi, Leader of the Legislative Arm of Kanam Local Government Council. The successful roadworks campaign sparked widespread jubilation, with the community praising the Chairman’s good deeds. Kudos to the Chairman for genuinely empowering his people without exaggerating or inflating the numbers, unlike previous instances.
Today’s event was unprecedented in Kanam Local Government Area. The people were utterly surprised by the empowerment initiative, which wasn’t publicized on conventional or social media. This contrasts with previous claims of distributing ₦80 million, where promises were made but no actual distribution took place. We call this ‘audio money’ – something you only hear about, but never see.
